Safe places to visit in 2021

As more and more of the general population is getting vaccinated, it seems our society is finally back on track to returning to a semblance of normality. While many of us are unsure of what that will look like, one thing is certain, we’ve been cooped up inside for so long that getting out to see the world is just what our souls need to recover some of the time we’ve lost. This pandemic has affected every person in one way or another, some more than others, and the effects on our mental and physical health are staggering. Vaccines and safety measures have been steadily rolling out to ensure that our future is one in which we can travel freely again without restrictions or fear of spreading COVID-19. The thought of travel has definitely been put on the back burner for most people, and getting back into that mindset might need a little inspiration. Listed below are some beautiful countries that have some of the lowest infection rates for COVID-19 in the world.

Cayman Islands

Not only are the Cayman Islands full of activities and luxurious experiences, but it also has one of the lowest infection rates in the entire world. This pandemic has sapped us of a lot of energy and memories we could have been making out in the world with our families, and what better way to regain some of that energy than relaxing on the beach with the warm sun on your face. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, perhaps consider visiting the incredible Stingray City sandbar, approximately 20 minutes off the shores of Grand Cayman, and encounter some of the friendliest and magical stingrays you’ll ever see! There are also numerous watersports and classes available for activities such as snorkeling, diving, kayaking, paddleboarding, kitesurfing, and more!

New Zealand

Home to filming the iconic Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, Wolverine, and more renowned films, New Zealand holds adventure in the palm of its hand. The landscape is stunning and full of untouched beauty and the culture is second to none. Take a helicopter to the top of Franz Josef and be guided across the magnificent glaciers that are among the most accessible on the planet. New Zealand is a country that you will never get tired of visiting, nor will you run out of things to do. Experience first hand the excitement of paragliding, bungy-jumping, zorbing, skydiving, and countless other exciting experiences surrounded by some of the best views this world has to offer. You can do all this and more with little risk to you or your family concerning COVID-19, for New Zealand has kept its infection rates low and have maintained safety practices to ensure the health of everyone inside their borders.

Bermuda

Bermuda is a paradise you never knew you needed to see. Not only does it have breathtaking ocean views and pristine sandy beaches, but there are also exciting underwater caves, coral reefs, and even shipwrecks! If water-based activities aren’t to your liking, it is definitely worth mentioning that Bermuda has golf courses that cover around 17% of the island, which is more per square mile than anywhere in the world! Conveniently, the national language of Bermuda is Bermudian English, which will make conversing with the locals that much more effortless! There are several luxury hotels on the islands including the Rosewood Bermuda and the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club - both venues being featured in various Instagram posts.

Why you should travel to Dubai this summer

For decades, Dubai has been one of the forerunning cities of class, luxury, and the perfect getaways. Some time ago, it was only a small fishing village in the Arabian Gulf, but over the years it transformed into a sun-soaked modern metropolis rich with diverse cultures and experiences! During all seasons of the year, people from all around the world gather here to experience the magical wonder of this amazing city. However, now more than ever is a great time for you to book your flight for Dubai. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, travel of any kind was more or less prohibited, but due to the increase of vaccinations and flattening the curve, Dubai’s doors are open to tourists once again. Before you plan your trip to Dubai, make sure to check whether or not you’ll need a visa to enter the country. If you meet certain conditions, you may be granted a temporary visa upon arriving at the airport.

Downtown Dubai is filled with world-class shopping, iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain, the Dubai Mall, and has a stretch of streets with gorgeous architecture featuring some of the most exquisite five-star hotels and restaurants. While the majority of the downtown area is urban, you can also find several green spaces to enjoy a stroll through. Downtown Dubai was created with the community in mind with perfectly landscaped promenades, and pedestrian-friendly walkways.

Dubai’s vast array of cuisine options are absolutely a must-try, but the local Emirati cuisine sets itself apart and your trip would definitely not be complete without giving it a try! The local Emirati restaurants have authentic Emirati food including Kabsa (basmati rice with meat and infused with several spices including nutmeg and saffron), Luqaimat (deliciously sweet and sticky dumplings with date syrup), and Fouga Deyay (grilled chicken and rice marinated in local aromatic spices). If you’re looking for an activity that is more local and authentic to the region, there are multiple boutiques in the area that offer classes for activities such as pottery, weaving, perfumery, and calligraphy.

These are just a few examples of why you should visit Dubai, but in 2021 there is another crucial element that makes visiting Dubai all that more worth it. Dubai is once again open for tourism assuming you meet the expected criteria. Many countries are still locked down against international travel, but the UAE (United Arab Emirates) has opened its doors for tourists to come drink their fill of luxury and high-end vacationing once again. This is in part due to the UAE’s low numbers of daily recorded infection rates, and their precautions taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Safest places to visit after the pandemic and which areas to stay away from

COVID-19 continues to run rampant through this world and puts many - if not all - of our travel plans on hold. It poses the question as to which countries are going to be the most stable and the safest to visit after the pandemic slows to a stop. Below we have compiled a small list of some of the best places to visit when this is all over and some of the places you should consider avoiding for the time being.

Dominica

Dominica (not to be confused with the Dominican Republic), as of July 24th 2020, had only 18 confirmed cases in the entire island country. Dominica was never really much of a tourism magnet, but all of that changed in 2019 when they opened a large luxury resort nestled in the lush and explorable island. Domnica is truly a haven for adventure and luxury-seekers alike featuring exciting eco-adventures and the Cabrits Resort & Spa Kepinski which is a 5-star resort featuring all kinds of services and facilities. Engage in some of the thrilling water-sports or simply relax and enjoy the professional massages and spa treatments that this resort has to offer.

Belize

Belize was another country with very few COVID-19 cases, making it our second on the list of countries that are moderately safe compared to other popular tourism places. Belize is definitely a hidden gem of the tourism world, and people are often surprised at just how much it has to offer. Boasting some of the most beautiful beaches and top-tier, world class scuba diving, you certainly won't be bored here. After you're done soaking up some sun on the beaches and in the water, you should consider taking a tour of the gorgeous nature reserves and national parks that are teeming with wildlife, including monkeys, parrots, toucans, jaguars, and more.

Monaco

Besides Vatican City, Monaco is the smallest country in the world. However, it's more popular as a tourism spot than you would think. Due to their tax free status, luxury hotels, resorts, casinos, and proximity to the French Riviera, Monaco truly is worth a visit. Filled to the brim with luxurious places to stay, Monaco has many avenues worthy of indulging in. If you find yourself lucky enough to stay in the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort, you may also have the pleasure of waking up to view the gorgeous sunrise over the bay.

Places to avoid for now:

USA

With over four million cases of the virus, the number one country you're going to want to avoid is the United States of America. Not only do they have the highest number of recorded cases in the world, but also many states are not even enforcing social-distancing or the use of masks. There isn't a single state in this country that hasn't been severely impacted by the pandemic. The USA doesn't seem to be on the path to recovery either, with more and more cases every day; the statistics are only going up as of July 25th, 2020. This is unfortunate due to the abundance of incredibly beautiful and worthwhile places to visit, but they can always be toured at a later date when this pandemic has slowed down to a trickle.

Brazil

The country with the second highest infection and death rate would unfortunately be Brazil. We would recommend that for now you steer clear of this country until the virus has cleared out. In the future it's to be sure that Brazil will welcome all of us with open arms again to experience the diverse culture and celebrations that they hold dear.

India

Third on this list of places to avoid- for the time being- is India. With a current standing of roughly 1.3 million confirmed cases, India is not looking like one of the safest countries to visit for now. Hopefully, sooner rather than later, this virus will slow to a stop and this beautiful country can once again open its doors to the world and have everyone experience the enjoyment and diversity within.

Why flying private in 2020 is essential

Tourism had all but grinded to a halt in the early months of 2020. The global pandemic spared no country as it forced economies to slow down and rendered traveling all but impossible. It took a long time, but thanks to the efforts of society working together to flatten the curve, everyone is finally starting to feel a sense of normalcy again. However, it's not over yet and converging together will all but reverse all the effort we've put into this process. For our own sanities it's important to get out again and experience the world and all it has to offer, but it's also important for us to do so safely. Flying in commercial airplanes is one of the issues that is sure to arrive in the next coming months. With hundreds of people grouping together in airports and airplanes, a relapse is all but sure to happen. That's why flying private now of all times is so important. We at FlyLargent ensure that each and every one of our private flights is sterilized and safe to transport you, your family, and your co-workers wherever you need to go. Listed below are a few reasons why you should fly private in 2020-2021

1)

As mentioned earlier, by flying private you can fly in a comfortable space not shared by the potentially infectious crowds who occupy the airport and airplanes of commercial flight companies. By doing this, you are substantially lowering any risk you could have for contracting the virus.

2)

By flying private you essentially eliminate the wait time you would have in a normal airport. Even if the airports aren't crowded, you will still have to spend time going through security, checking baggage, and lining up to board your flight. At FlyLargent we are able to speed this process up which eliminates your need to assemble with a group of people and also cuts down on your wait time.

3)

We have a team of experts that are available to you 24/7 for questions, tips, and information for whatever travel information you may need. You can rest assured that all of your baggage and needs will be personally taken care of by our staff and that none of it will get lost in transit. It's stressful enough to travel during a pandemic without the extra worry of losing your belongings!

These are just a couple reasons why flying private during 2020-2021 is so vital and your best option to travel safely. At FlyLargent you can rest assured you are traveling in a safe, sterile, and comfortable environment. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us! We are standing by to help you with whatever you may need. Stay safe out there!
